Barbour is an iconic outdoor clothing brand known for its classic designs and high-quality materials. With a distinct history rooted in strong values, the brand needed a fresh website that enhanced the user experience, showcased its full range of products in a visually striking manner, and reflect the brand's heritage and commitment to durability and functionality while appealing to a modern audience.

Solution

To appeal to a modern audience and remain recognizable, classic brand elements are paired with modern UI for an updated digital visual language. Robust editorial storytelling modules are weaved throughout the site allowing users to connect with the brand emotionally without disrupting the shopping flow. A robust module library also allows the brand to create engaging landing pages for new collections, lookbooks, and product education content. An interactive timeline page illustrates the brand’s rich history dating back to 1894. The Barbour International line has a different look and feel as well as product offering, so a tabbed approach was implemented in the main navigation for users to seamlessly browse both lines.
